Thesis is a speculative proposal for a peacekeeping base distributed across an Andean site, designed to accommodate three battalions under the geopolitical framework of the then-emerging UNASUR. Developed as Alejandro Rodríguez's final university project, the scheme explores territorial occupation through a network of structures embedded in the topography rather than through conventional military architecture.
The project was accompanied by an immersive presentation system: the spatial design was translated into a real-time 3D environment and exhibited through VR headsets, stereo projections, and navigable visualisations. Circulation, landscape integration, and sustainability shaped the formal decisions throughout.
