Conectados is an interactive map commissioned by Fundación Telefónica Movistar for the exhibition of the same name, curated by Ricardo Serón. The piece transformed Buenos Aires' invisible telecommunications infrastructure into a large-scale, navigable landscape — revealing the antennas, traffic flows and usage patterns that sustain the city's networks of calls, messages and data. Designed in collaboration with Alejandro Rodríguez, the map made a hidden technological geography tangible for a general audience.
Visitors navigated the installation through a tactile control station, exploring the physical layer behind everyday connectivity in real time. Urban data streams were translated into a visual field displayed across a large screen, turning abstract infrastructure into an immersive, legible experience. The work bridged technical complexity and public understanding by rendering the electromagnetic environment as a shared, visible space within the exhibition hall.
