Vendimia 2013 was the first edition of the Vendimia direction by Alejandro Rodríguez / Dogrush — a large-scale scenographic and audiovisual production for Mendoza's National Grape Harvest Festival, staged at the Teatro Griego Frank Romero Day with around one thousand performers and a multi-projector mapping system across the curved stage architecture. Directed by Vilma Rupolo, the edition brought together scenic design, technical coordination, floor and screen mapping, and a wider network of programmers, animators and suppliers.
Alejandro Rodríguez / Dogrush served as special effects director, in charge of the visual and technological scenographic setting, establishing the technical and creative framework that would later be developed through the 2015 edition. The resulting show ran for approximately seventy minutes and was repeated over four nights, with live national broadcasts across Argentina. The project marked the beginning of a sustained involvement with the Vendimia festival and laid the foundation for the visual language and production methodology carried forward into future editions.
