Plaza de Mayo brought together stage design, spatial planning and technical coordination for a sequence of large-scale public events held in front of Casa Rosada between 2014 and 2015.
Developed under the direction of Martín Borini and within the IDV team, the project began with a detailed scan of the square and a full 3D reconstruction used to study stage position, sightlines, screen distribution and technical logistics. The proposal combined a central stage, satellite structures, large-format displays and a surround sound strategy adapted to the scale of the site.
The events gathered an audience of around 600,000 people in Plaza de Mayo. Alongside the design work, the process involved the preparation of technical riders and coordination with government staff, production teams and hardware providers. The result was a flexible system able to host concerts, civic celebrations and interstitial audiovisual content across multiple occasions.
