Commissioned by Argentina's Ministry of Culture for the 2014 centenary of Mendoza's emblematic Cerro de la Gloria monument, this large-scale projection mapping combined archival narrative with live public spectacle. The production began with a photometric survey of the monument to generate a low-polygon 3D digital model, which served as the foundation for a projected animated sequence recounting General San Martín's Andean liberation campaigns across Argentina and Chile.
The digital reconstruction was mapped directly onto the monument's surface, transforming the physical landmark into its own screen. The commemoration also featured live folkloric performances and a military parade, situating the projection within a broader civic program that engaged the city's public through multiple performative registers.
